You are the light

In this season of celebrating the light coming into a darkened world, remember, you too are that light. You are truth, inspiration, and God's angels upon the earth. It is your kind smile that can turn the entire course of a stranger's day, or perhaps even their lives. It is your willingness to turn away from the unkindness of others, rather than feed it, that is a gift and a blessing to all involved. It is your willingness to acknowledge yourself as part of God's great love that allows you to shine that light into he world.

So while you are waiting in the holiday lines, take the time to smile at those around you. Call forth the light of God into your being and pray in silence to be a radiant blessing to those around you. When you are driving on the road, remember those are your fellow human beings driving with you. When you are running around with your family and friends, enjoying holiday events, remember, these are the ones you love. Enjoy the time. It is truly a gift, and remember as well to enjoy time with yourself and God each day, for this is a gift and blessing beyond compare.

You are the light in the darkness, dear ones. By all means, enjoy your holiday season. Enjoy the presents you give and receive. Remember, however, it is the gift of your Presence that is the simplest and most humble looking gift of all, and yet the most meaningful gift you can leave upon the earth.

Happy Thanksgiving

In this week of Thanksgiving we give thanks for you! Each one of you reading this has been striving diligently to live a more loving life. Each one of you has a dear and caring heart. And it took each one of you tremendous courage to come to the earth and to remain here during turbulent times.

So celebrate yourselves dear friends! As you give thanks around your Thanksgiving tables for those in your life that you so dearly love can you also give thanks for your own presence here upon the earth? Can you look in the mirror and say, "Thank you God for making me, for allowing me to be here at this time, living on this amazing school called earth! Thank you God for both what I perceive to be the blessings and the challenges, for these have shaped me and made me into the beautiful, kind, and caring person that I am today. I love you God. Thank you for breathing life into me today and all days."

Life is a gift dear friends. It is short even if you live to be 100 years. It is an adventure for your soul! In truth, you are one with the light and love of God dear ones, nothing less! You are simply striving to find your way back to that truth as the raindrops form the rivers which seek the oceans. Give thanks! This in and of itself is cause for celebration - that God's love can take shape and human form, and interact with other manifestations of God's love! Give thanks for the beautiful being that you call "you!" We certainly are thankful for each and every one of you!

You are precious

Each one of you is special, precious, and unique in our eyes. In the heavens we never identify you with you circumstances, your thoughts, and your moods. Instead we see you as the beautiful and courageous souls that you truly are. For indeed it takes courage to be upon your earth at this time. Mother earth herself is stirring, rumbling, trying to awaken her children to the fact that you are all one human race. She wishes for nothing more than her children to get along peacefully with one another, or at least, to find peace within their own hearts. And so, dear friends, the greatest gift you can give the world, and the greatest honor you can shower upon your Creator, is the gift of being yourself. And being yourself includes, not only finding ways to express your gifts and talents, and authentically expression your truths, but most of all being "yourself" means being the loving being that you truly are.

We know so many of you have to earn a living. And that is alright because even going to a job that is less than perfect in your eyes is an act of love. You love your homes, your cars, the food upon your table, your children, your pets, and you want to care for these beings. You love yourself enough to say I will create for myself some income to support me while I pay attention to the things that really matter in my life. And some of you are lucky enough to love even what you do while earning a living, but if you are not, don't judge yourselves dear ones, for everything you do, we choose to see as an act of love.

If you are not happy with how you are earning a living think first to yourselves, "How can I be myself in spite of the situation?" "How can I do my best given the constraints I face?" "How can I be loving even when others are not?" And in so doing, you release yourselves from the perceived limitations you face, because although the world might limit you in some fashion, you are unlimited in your capacity to love. You are unlimited in your ability to choose to see the light instead of the darkness. And the more you love - self first, then others - and the more you look to the light, the more your situations will begin to improve.

We see so many of your judging yourselves around the subject of money and we send you so much love, for we know that money is only a tool you use to exchange energy in the world. If you earn your money with love, even if you perceive yourselves to have the lowliest job in the world, then indeed you are rich with the pennies you do earn. You are rich because you are feeling filled with love. If you earn your money with anything less than love, you will find yourself feeling impoverished. Those you consider 'greedy' are often the poorest of all in our eyes because they do not yet know the abundance of God's love.

Love is the currency you all seek to exchange upon your planet earth. Love is what you are made of. Love is how we see each one of you. Your spirits were created in love and you will return to love. Why not embody the truth of your love here upon the earth and enjoy the special, unique, and precious journey that your soul truly intends to create?

Release yourself from expectations

As you release yourself from the expectations of your past, you will find that you allow room in your life for the magic and miracles that can only be created by God. When you surrender to your own heart, allow yourself to flow according to your natural rhythms, and give up your expectations of perfection, you start to realize that you are perfect already. Life is perfect as it is. Others are perfectly where they should be to support the growth their soul needs at this time.

You can dance with life rather than struggling with it. Like water, you can try to move the boulders and obstacles, but when they do not budge, you can carve a new path around them.

In this letting go of expectations, you allow room for greater creation. You free up energy that would otherwise be wasted. "But dear angels," we hear you cry! "I expect kind treatment! I expect my bills to be paid! How can you ask us to give up expectation!" Dear ones, this is not exactly what we are speaking of. By all means, expect kind treatment, but when it does not occur, simply move away. If you hold a specific individual bound to your expectations and they do not live up to that reality you waste a lot of time and energy being upset or trying to get them to change. Simply move on. Simply ignore the bad behavior, or speak up with love and kindness, albeit firmly at times, for this is the only way in which YOU will find peace. You will never find peace when you hold yourself or others to standards that you, or they, cannot yet reach.

A kindergartner is lucky to be able to share his A,B,C's. If you were to get upset that he or she wasn't able to articulate complex ideas in writing, you would be wasting your energy. He or she is simply not there yet.

Likewise you do your best in any given moment of your life. You get upset. You make so-called mistakes. You can't fit everything in a day that you would like. Sometimes you have vowed to treat yourself well and you forget. Dear ones, stop beating yourselves up. Stop holding yourselves to standards of perfection and then using these as tools to see yourself as anything less than divine. Strive, of course, for better at all times, but when you, in your human terms, "Mess Up," bless the mess, learn from it, and move on. When others don't live up to your standards, bless them, speak up kindly, and move on.
v You are at a time on earth when you want to be very careful where you spend your energy. And while we understand that you all want to be more loving, do better, and reach your goals, we encourage you to treat yourselves with love as you learn to do so. While we understand that you wish others would be wiser, kinder, and more loving, we encourage you to either treat them with love or simply move away when they are not.

Your energy is a precious resource dear ones. Use it wisely. Spend it on thoughts and behaviors that honor your spirit, and when you do not, be kind to yourselves anyway. In doing so, you are being kind to God, for God's love lives within you and you live within God as well.
